About the Workshop

Most corporate sustainability strategies still centre on what a company can measure inside its own four walls - emissions, supply chains, product lines. But the sustainability sector is starting to name what that view leaves out: businesses don't operate in a vacuum. They shape, and are shaped by, the wider systems, norms, and cultures around them. A company isn't only an emitter to manage, it's an investor, an innovator, a buyer, an advocate, and, most powerfully, a storyteller. Its influence doesn't end at the edge of its own inventory.

That thinking maps beautifully onto Empathetic Longevity within fashion. If a brand's influence reaches beyond its own operations, then it also reaches beyond the point of sale , into the relationship a person goes on to build with what they've bought. This workshop is about claiming that space deliberately: helping your brand shape not just what someone buys, but how they come to feel about it, live with it, and keep it, long after the till receipt is gone.

A warm, honest, and rigorous session, built for teams ready to explore a world that exists beyond the garment.

Led personally by Teresa, drawing on ten years of practice spanning hands-on craft, running her own circular clothing brand, the Ellen MacArthur Foundation's circular economy thinking, and work with brands including Decathlon, Audi, and Intesa Sanpaolo.

  • Blends systems thinking with genuinely experiential, hands-on practice, threaded through with a touch of mindful, embodied presence

  • Tailored to your brand's specific challenge, audience, and ethos ahead of the session

  • Designed to leave your team with language, insight, and concrete ideas they can carry straight into real briefs — not just inspiration that fades by Monday

  • Suitable for design, marketing, sustainability, or leadership teams ready to lead this conversation, not follow it

Mock Agenda

Arrival & Grounding We begin by slowing down. A short, guided moment of mindfulness brings the human lens into the room before any strategy talk starts — because the work we're about to do asks for presence, not just attention.

Questioning the Status Quo Together, we map your brand's world across its three layers — micro, meso, and macro — and get honest about where your real influence already lives, and where the biggest untapped opportunity is quietly waiting.

Storytelling & Narrative A deep-dive into garments as vessels for memory, not just objects of use. We explore how the stories a brand tells don't just reflect culture — they have the power to shape and shift it.

Embodied Connection Hands-on, real-world exploration of the tools that build lasting attachment: mending, marking, visible repair — ways a garment can be reimagined and "immortalised" by becoming something new.

Ideation A creative, fast-moving ideation session to shape an approach that genuinely fits your brand's ethos — leaving your team with concrete ideas they can start implementing right away.

Full timings and format shared on booking — tailored to your team size and goals.
